Choice Lot Selections and Innovative Modern Family Home Design Drive Homebuyer Interests and Sales
Frisco, Texas – October 2, 2012 – Dallas-based homebuilder, Darling Homes is now pre-selling homes within Lawler Park, one of Frisco’s newest master-planned communities located between I-75 and the Dallas North Tollway. Darling Homes has already contracted 14 homes, with 23 lots remaining within The Arbors and The Crossing sections of the development. The homebuilder’s modern family model home featuring a self-contained and independent first floor "in-law suite" with its own entry, bedroom, kitchenette and living area is nearing completion and driving consumer interests and home sales.
“As more families look for options of being able to accommodate senior or adult family members under one roof, we believe they will find this new home design meets an unmet consumer need,” stated Michael Carter, VP Marketing, Darling Homes. “Our research indicates there is a rising need among this demographic which has served as the catalyst for developing what we call the ‘modern family’ floor plan. This home design provides the opportunity for different living arrangements while still providing great use of space, square footage and most importantly, privacy. In fact, we have created this unique home design to allow for dual living situations without sacrificing comfort – it’s literally a home within a home,” he concluded.
According to the Pew Research Center, about one in five U.S. households are multigenerational, a trend fueled by delays in the age young people marry and start their own households, and aging baby boomers moving in with their kids1. Extended families who live together have made a major resurgence across America. In keeping with this new trend, Darling Homes has responded with a new innovative product.
In addition to the Modern Family Home Series, Darling Homes is offering traditional family home designs ranging from 2,300 to more than 4,000 square feet, priced from the $330’s. Home designs feature open floor plans for family living areas, gourmet kitchens, media room options as well as private master suites, large secondary bedrooms, covered patios and three-car garages.
Lawler Park is a 143-acre master-planned community featuring over 300 homes within two sections, The Arbors at Lawler Park and The Crossing at Lawler Park. Lots will be 65 feet and 75 feet wide with prices slated from the $330’s up to the $500’s. This prestigious development is located within Frisco ISD, with easy access to Hwy 121, Legacy Business Park and high-end retail, dining and entertainment.
